Light Engine
At the heart of every Rhythm system is the Rhythm Light Engine—a compact, high-output module built to reproduce the intensity, richness, and warmth of real sunlight indoors.
It delivers sky-level brightness with a golden-hour color profile, filling a room with soft, natural light that feels energizing rather than harsh. Every element of the engine is tuned for visual comfort, color fidelity, and an immersive, daylight-like experience.
The Light Engine is paired with a custom thermal architecture that keeps the LEDs operating at peak efficiency, ensuring consistent brightness and long-term stability even during extended use.
Thermal Architecture
Better cooling means more light—safely, quietly, and for much longer.
Rhythm’s thermal system uses a high-performance heat-spreading core to move thermal energy away from the LEDs almost immediately. This is coupled with an actively managed airflow system that continuously adjusts to maintain optimal operating temperatures.
Together, these elements reduce component stress, minimize noise, and preserve luminous output over the lifespan of the system.
The result: a high-output fixture that stays bright, quiet, and stable day after day—without the heat, drift, or fatigue common in traditional high-intensity lights.

Who we are.
Hi, I’m Harrison.
I started Rhythm during the long, dark months of the pandemic. Like many people, I felt the heaviness, the disconnection, the fading of joy that came with long hours indoors.
During this time, I came to the realization: Light is not just something we see, but something we feel.
So I built myself a light, using repurposed warehouse fixtures. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked. It made me feel a little more alive. That small spark pushed me to keep going — to refine the design, improve the engineering, and create something truly worthy of the name “sunlight generator.”
Today, I make each one by hand in San Francisco, with care and intention in every step.
