What This Policy Covers
This policy describes how Rhythm Innovations, Inc. (“Rhythm”, “we”) handles information collected through www.betterwithrhythm.com (the “Site”). It does not cover the Rhythm Light mobile app, which has its own privacy policy, or checkout pages operated by Stripe, which are governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.

Information We Collect
Information you give us.
- Newsletter: your email address, when you sign up.
- Firmware upgrade requests: your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, location, your unit’s serial number and any notes you add, when you use the upgrade request form.
- Purchases: the Reserve button takes you to a checkout page operated by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment and shipping details; we receive the order details we need to fulfil and support your order.
Information collected automatically.
- Site analytics: the pages you view, the site that referred you, your approximate country, your device and browser type, and page performance. This is collected by Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which do not use cookies and do not identify you personally.
- Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel): a script from Meta Platforms, Inc. records the pages you view on the Site, when you view our product page, and when you select Reserve, together with the product and its price. Meta sets cookies in your browser (such as
_fbp, and_fbcif you arrived from a Meta ad) and receives your IP address and browser information. Meta may associate this information with your Facebook or Instagram account. You can turn this off; see Section 4.
Information from Rhythm devices. Rhythm devices contact the Site to check for software updates and to report whether an update succeeded; these reports contain the software version, the result and the product model, and no serial number or other identifier. If you choose to send a crash report from your unit, it includes the unit’s serial number and a diagnostic record of the device’s memory at the time of the crash.
03
How We Use It
We use this information to:
- send you the newsletter you asked for, until you unsubscribe;
- respond to firmware upgrade requests and other support questions;
- process, fulfil and support orders;
- understand how the Site is used and keep it fast and working;
- deliver software updates to Rhythm devices and diagnose device problems;
- measure our advertising on Instagram and Facebook, and show our products to people likely to be interested in them.
04
Sharing, and Your Choice to Opt Out
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, the Meta Pixel sends information about your visit to Meta, which U.S. state privacy laws, including California’s, treat as sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to opt out of that sharing:
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the Site does not load the Meta Pixel at all. We treat the signal as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing.
- The control below. Opting out stops the Meta Pixel in this browser and removes its cookies.
- Meta’s own settings, at facebook.com/adpreferences.
Your privacy choices
Checking this browser’s setting…
This choice is saved in this browser only. Clearing your browser data resets it, so opt out again on each browser or device you use.
05
Service Providers
We share personal information with service providers that process it on our behalf, under contracts that limit how they may use it: Vercel (website hosting and analytics), Resend (email delivery and our newsletter list) and Stripe (payments). Meta Platforms receives information through the Meta Pixel as described in Section 4. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights and users, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
06
How Long We Keep It
We keep newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. We keep other information for as long as we need it for the purposes in Section 3 — for example, order records for as long as warranty, tax and accounting obligations require, and support correspondence for as long as it helps us support your unit — and no longer. Information collected by Meta is retained under Meta’s own policies.
07
U.S. State Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of a U.S. state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law — California, Colorado, Connecticut, Montana, Oregon, Texas and Virginia among them — you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose about you, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to;
- Access or obtain a copy of your personal information;
- Delete your personal information;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, as described in Section 4.
To exercise these rights, contact us at team@withrhythm.xyz. We will verify your request before acting on it, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
08
Children
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, and we do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
09
